Unfortunately, we don't offer repair services - we only carry a selection of high quality products from leading suppliers. However, if you've purchased an item from us and it's not working properly, please get in touch with us for assistance! We'll do our best to make sure you're taken care of.

Crystal Care

We often explain the intricacies of fine artisanship to customers seeking flawlessness in their crystal tableware purchases. Although mass-produced items can achieve this level of perfection, handmade quality ware cannot and should not strive for sameness due to its reliance on the skillfulness and craftsmanship of each individual artisan. In fact, slight variations between pieces may reveal even higher levels of craftsmanship! Fortunately, those who appreciate finer crystal understand this concept well.

No. Those small, bubble-like specs visible when you observe crystals with a powerful light source are created by gases as the raw ingredients fuse or melt together. These specks have no influence on the quality or beauty of glassware and should be disregarded.

No. Each piece of crystal is one-of-a-kind, with subtle variations in weight and height that demonstrate its handcrafted nature.

To prevent a stuck stopper from occurring in the first place, try this trick: rinse the neck and top of your decanter with comfortably warm water or pour some warmed vegetable oil around it to loosen it up. Additionally, wipe down the neck area with a soft cloth before replacing its stopper every time you use it.

Fill your vases and decanters halfway with warm water to make them shine. Add an appropriate amount of mild detergent, two tablespoons of either vinegar or ammonia, followed by a cup of uncooked rice. Swirl the mixture around for several minutes to remove any residue left behind. After that, rinse it with moderately hot water and leave it upside down on a rack to air dry.  

To remove difficult-to-remove stains, fill a container with warm water and add one denture-cleaning tablet. Let it sit until the blemish is no longer visible!

We caution against using a dishwasher to clean delicate crystals, as the extreme heat and harsh detergents may permanently damage its surface.

Unfortunately, if a crystal breaks, it cannot be repaired to its original condition. We at WineCarer do not recommend trying to glue the pieces together either; some repair shops can grind down chipped glasses, but this will leave an etched white rim and cause them to become shorter than the other pieces in your set. Wear and tear is expected with these items, so when they become damaged, we advise replacing them rather than trying any repairs.

In brief, there are three principal types of racks: angled displays (wherein your bottles lean inwards with the bottom facing outwardly; these demands either rail or panel backing), cork-out display cases (bottles protrude their corks outwards), and label-out showcases(with labels pointing exteriorly when standing horizontally against the wall). Three suitable setup types include wall rails, wall panels, and floor-to-ceiling racks.

Ultra wine racks are built to adorn walls, yet some versions can even be installed within cabinets. Wood? Drywall? Plaster or concrete - whatever you have in your home, an Ultra wine rack will easily mount it!

Ultra products are easy to install - all you need is the detailed instructions we provide and some standard household tools. However, if your floor has a concrete slab foundation and you plan to install Floor-to-Ceiling racks, an appropriate drill might be necessary to bore through it successfully.

Securely mount your Ultra wine rack with the included hardware and fasteners to ensure even weight distribution across the wall. Whenever possible, attach it directly to wall studs for optimum stability.

If you want to ensure that your bottles are parallel to the wall, then horizontal (HZ) pegs and rails will do just that. Not only do they hold your bottles securely in place, but they also ensure that their labels are visible from any angle. Alternatively, if you prefer a cork-out configuration for displaying them, straight pegs and rails can be used.

Absolutely! However, it must be done in a single-deep configuration.

Yes! We offer an array of Floor-to-Ceiling racks, HZ pegs, and HZ rails in three different finishes: satin black with a glossy finish, chrome for the classic look, and wrinkle black, which provides some texture. While we are delighted to ship orders outside the United States, customers must bear responsibility for shipping expenses. Unfortunately, customs clearance is not a service that we offer; it's something you'll have to take care of yourself.
