In 1984, after graduating from the University of Arts, Crafts & Design in Stockholm, Erika Lagerbielke created a timeless masterpiece - Intermezzo. This glassware design diverged from Orrefors' 1950s colorless aesthetic and allowed the glass to be used as an exciting decorative element in any table setting. Rather than discarding the beauty and craftsmanship that made Orrefors famous worldwide, she took those characteristics to new heights with Intermezzo!
